Rick Rosenblum has built a three-plus decade career of courtroom and legal counseling success on integrity, strategic vision, service, and teamwork. Organizations, businesses, and individuals have relied on Rick’s unique combination of bold, innovative leadership to successfully manage their most complex and significant challenges.

Rick led a multi-million dollar law practice at an AmLaw 100 firm developing strategies and managing risk for domestic and international public and private companies, with particular emphasis in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Rick has litigated cases ranging from fiduciary claims to professional liability claims to construction to insurer receivership disputes to environmental quota share reinsurance arbitrations. Rick also served as partner-in-charge of an AmLaw 100 firm’s San Antonio office, as well acting as the Firm’s deputy general counsel, where he managed claims against the Firm, demonstrating his partners’ respect for his professional judgment and expertise. Rick has successfully tried over two dozen cases before juries, courts, and arbitrators, with billions of dollars at issue. Rick’s work has garnered recognition over multiple years from Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers, as well as Who’s Who in Insurance and Reinsurance.

  • Designed and Implemented risk management/outside counsel program for a major domestic multi-state food services company, resulting in a savings of several million dollars of annual expense
  • Lead attorney for two major personal lines insurers in more than 350 high-risk lawsuits in South Texas Trial Counsel for foreign reinsurer in $300 million reinsurance arbitration with domestic ceding insurer
  • Co-Counsel in eight figure will contest
  • Counsel to heir of eight figure estate in guardianship proceeding
  • Trial Counsel in $1 billion dispute representing major life insurer accused of defrauding municipal employees of state municipal risk pool
