Jake Litzenberger

Associate

Jake focuses his practice on complex civil litigation matters with an emphasis on business disputes, insurance coverage and professional liability. Jake earned his Juris Doctor at Washington University School of Law. While in law school, Jake interned in the enterprise litigation division of a Fortune 100 company and clerked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri in the civil litigation and white collar crime divisions. Jake participated in his law school’s Children’s Rights Clinic and appeared in court in complex child abuse and juvenile delinquency cases. Additionally, Jake worked at a firm specializing in federal appeals during his third year of law school.

 Prior to attending law school, Jake spent over a decade in the United States Navy as an Instructor Flight Engineer and Crew Chief. Deployed three times, Jake is a veteran of numerous conflicts, humanitarian efforts, and search and rescue operations. Jake also worked in military research, development, test, and evaluation and has extensive firsthand knowledge of projects ranging from unmanned aerial vehicles to satellite launch systems.
