Suzanne Schlicher


Practicing since 1992, Suzanne Schlicher is an experienced insurance coverage attorney. She has substantial commercial litigation experience. Her primary focus has been upon coverage of complex or large commercial losses from both a third-party and first-party perspective. Ms. Schlicher has worked with a variety of commercial lines policies, including CGL, business owners policies, errors and omissions, and commercial auto and trucker’s coverage, excess coverages, and cyber risks, among others. She has worked with ISO and manuscript policies for admitted and surplus line carriers. Ms. Schlicher has extensive experience in insurance coverage issues involving additional insured claims, contractual indemnity issues, and Master Service Agreements.

  • Represented insurer on the coverage of construction defects of a South Texas prison
  • Represented various surplus lines insurers relative to Climate Change Litigation and claims
  • Represented various surplus lines and domestic carriers on first party weather-related claims
  • Represented admitted carrier on insured’s claims of wrongful settlement of third-party claim and attendant extra-contractual claims
  • Represented insurers on various coverage matters in the trucking industry
  • Represented insurer on coverage of downhole pipe failure
  • Represented insurer on coverage of downhole well failure
  • Represented surplus lines insurer on coverage of construction defects associated with the remodeling of apartment complex.
