Chasnoff | Stribling Adds Two New Attorneys
Chasnoff Valkenaar & Stribling, LLP (Chasnoff | Stribling) is pleased to announce the addition of Chad Schreiber and Megan Sturm to the Firm. Chad joins as Counsel in our insurance coverage group, while Megan will be an Associate in the Firm’s commercial litigation group.
About Chad W. Schreiber
Chad’s practice includes a focus on representing domestic and foreign insurers in civil litigation matters that involve a broad spectrum of insurance policies. These policies include commercial general liability, excess liability, pollution liability, professional liability, and directors and officers liability coverage. Additionally, his practice extends to general tort and commercial litigation. In this particular area, Chad has represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of matters, including personal injury and property damage claims, as well as in contractual disputes.
Chad received his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s School of Law after attending Texas State University. He graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into St. Mary’s distinguished John M. Harlan Society, an honorary organization recognizing students who have excelled academically and graduate in the top 10% of their class
Chad is a member of the William S. Sessions Inn of Court, as well as the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
About Megan Sturm
Megan’s practice focuses on a wide range of complex litigation matters, including contract disputes, fiduciary litigation, real property matters, and internal and government investigations. She is also well-versed in counseling clients in litigation avoidance strategies. Megan enjoys advocating for her clients across the various stages of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations through trial and appeal.
Megan received her Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School where she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Megan served as the research assistant to Professor James Seckinger, a founding director of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Megan was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Trial Advocacy and wrote an award-winning paper on solar energy for the American Bar Association’s Law Student Energy Law Writing Competition. After her first year, Megan served as a judicial intern for the Supreme Court of Texas.
Megan has been featured in SA Scene Magazine as one of the “Best SA Lawyers” in 2019 and 2020, as well as being on its “Rising Star” list for General Litigation in 2021.
